Kimora Nears was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds and two steals.
San Diego's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mackenzie Nitzel, who scored four points along with 20 rebounds and two steals. Nitzel hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for nine straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Amarie Huerta, who scored five points.
Patrick Henry has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for San Diego, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Patrick Henry will head out on the road to face off against Point Loma at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. San Diego on the road again on Monday and play against Granite Hills at 12:00 p.m. on January 15th.
