Murphy won the last time they faced Blue Ridge Early College and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Bobcats with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Murphy walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-18, 25-17.

Murphy's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Blue Ridge Early College, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Murphy will host Hiwassee Dam at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Blue Ridge Early College, they are taking a road trip to challenge Shining Rock Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
