Tokay extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Thalia Chavez. The Tokay Tigers put the hurt on the Galt Warriors with a sharp 48-22 win on Monday thanks in part to Chavez, who posted 18 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. She is becoming a predictor of Tokay's success: when she posts at least five steals the team is 11-4 (and 1-2 when she doesn't).

Izabella Cathey and Antanella Feilbach certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Cathey had four points and nine rebounds, while Feilbach posted five points and ten rebounds.

Tokay's victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Galt, their loss was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-11.

Tokay didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 59-16 win against Turlock on the 7th. As for Galt, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 42-23 defeat against Rosemont on the 7th.
