On Friday Floodwood take on North Woods at 7:00 PM. Floodwood are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.
Floodwood ended up forfeiting their game against Littlefork-Big Falls 0-2 last Friday. This makes it the second loss in a row for Floodwood.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for North Woods, and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. They lost to South Ridge by a decisive 18-38 margin.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see if Floodwood are able to find more success (and make for a more exciting matchup than their last) when the teams meet up.
