MacKenzie Morton was nothing short of spectacular: she scored 19 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaeden Hudson, who scored nine points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, Hoggard can now show off 17 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 62-37 margin over Topsail. The score was close at the half, but Hoggard pulled away in the second half with 40 points.
Ashley's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Hoggard, their victory was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-1.
