After only one run in their last game, Highland made sure to put some runs up on the board against Monroe City on Monday. The Cougars blew past the Panthers 17-7. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won six in a row.

Aspen Scifres was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with four stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Alayna Logsdon was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Highland now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Monroe City, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
