The Pottsgrove Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 56-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Daniel Boone. Pottsgrove was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Daniel Boone apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Pottsgrove lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Aleah Rockemore, who scored 16 points along with three steals. Rockemore continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Leaman, who scored 12 points along with four steals.
Pottsgrove's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Daniel Boone, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4.
Pottsgrove will be playing in front of their home fans against Pope John Paul II at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Daniel Boone will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Twin Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
