The Foothill Mustangs will head out on the road to challenge the Cordova Lancers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
Foothill suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Wednesday. They had to suffer through a rough 72-12 loss at the hands of West Campus. Foothill was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-9.
Maryssa Arnold was Foothill's leading scorer, having posted five points.
Cordova posted their biggest victory since December 1, 2023 on Wednesday. They breezed by Valley at home to the tune of 56-20. The win made it back-to-back wins for Cordova.
Foothill has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for Cordova, their victory bumped their record up to 7-12.
Foothill strolled past Cordova in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 by a score of 47-29. Does Foothill have another victory up their sleeve, or will Cordova turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
