Stoeckig is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games he's played.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for New Creation Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over Abundant Life Christian Academy on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Crusaders, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.
Austin Jones made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over 4.1 innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Cade Anderson was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Wesley Jones, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Harvester Christian Academy has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like New Creation Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Harvester Christian Academy might still be hurting after the 15-5 defeat they got from New Creation Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in February of 2017. Can the Hawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
