The Tamaqua Blue Raiders's game last Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They managed a 37-33 victory over Pine Grove. That's another feather in the cap for Tamaqua, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Tamaqua's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kolbe Robb led the charge by scoring 11 points along with six steals. Robb has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last six times she's played. Makayla Bartenope was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds.
Tamaqua's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Pine Grove, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Hopefully Panther Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Friday. As for Pine Grove, they will stay at home for another game and welcome the Zephyrs at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Whitehall is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
