The International School of Los Angeles Lions will head out on the road to square off against the Southwestern Academy Sun at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. International School of Los Angeles is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.

Meanwhile, Southwestern Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They came out on top against New Harvest Christian by a score of 39-29. That's two games straight that Southwestern Academy has won by exactly ten points.
Southwestern Academy can attribute much of their success to Michelle Fakrogha, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds and four steals, and Marifer Durand, who almost dropped a triple-double on nine points, nine rebounds, and 11 steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fakrogha has scored all season. Valza Jusufi was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds.
International School of Los Angeles' defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Southwestern Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-9.
International School of Los Angeles came out on top in a nail-biter against Southwestern Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, sneaking past 28-25. The rematch might be a little tougher for International School of Los Angeles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
