The Petaluma Trojans suffered their biggest defeat since December 22, 2023 on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Justin-Siena on the road and fell 54-23. Petaluma has struggled against Justin-Siena recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Justin-Siena got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jordan Washington out in front who dropped a double-double on ten points and 16 rebounds. Washington hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Zapolski, who scored 21 points.
Petaluma's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Justin-Siena, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 16-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Petaluma will take on Sonoma Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Justin-Siena, they will be playing in front of their home fans against American Canyon at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. American Canyon will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 280th, while Justin-Siena is ranked 116th).
