In what's become a running theme this season, the Central Dauphin Rams gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Palmyra 63-36 on the road. The win was nothing new for Central Dauphin as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Central Dauphin found their leader in underclassman Kayla Fletcher, who scored 14 points along with eight assists and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fletcher has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Lauren Cavoli, who scored nine points.
Central Dauphin has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-2 record this season. As for Palmyra, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-6.
Central Dauphin won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against State College at 6:30 p.m. on February 9th. Central Dauphin is on a three-game streak of home wins, State College a six-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Palmyra, they will head out on the road to challenge Red Land at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Palmyra is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Red Land in Pennsylvania (Palmyra is ranked 188th, while Red Land is ranked 435th).
