Overfelt had lost three straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 0-4 to make it four. They fell 10-5 to the Silver Creek Raiders. If the Royals were looking for revenge after losing 12-0 to the Raiders when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Brian Becerra Dado was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That triple was his first of the season. Adrian Garcia was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Silver Creek's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. The high-scoring effort was just what they needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.
On Silver Creek's side, Isaiac Frausto made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Frausto was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Silver Creek let Saxton Sinatra and Mateo Romero run wild. Sinatra went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Romero went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those three hits gave Sinatra a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Nunez, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.
While Overfelt had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
