Baseball Recap: Brawley's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Brawley barely beat Imperial the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats blew past the Tigers 14-8 on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Matt Gutierrez was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Tate Preece, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Brawley's record now sits at 13-11. As for Imperial, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-11.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Brawley is set to challenge their familiar foe Palo Verde Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Imperial will take on rival Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
