Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hayfork). They took their contest on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 55-25 win over the Dunsmuir Tigers. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-9.

Hayfork found their leader in freshman Sidney Medellin, who posted 15 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Kaelynn Bayley, who put up 12 points and three steals.

The victory made it two in a row for Hayfork and bumps their season record up to 3-6. As for Dunsmuir, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Hayfork will take on Loyalton in a holiday battle at at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dunsmuir, they will venture away from home to challenge Happy Camp at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
