Surprise Valley's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amelia Cervantes, who posted 14 points. Cervantes continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Gennasys Fernandez, who scored 11 points.
It was another big night for Jada Dillard, who had 25 points and three steals for Princeton. That makes it four consecutive games in which Dillard has scored at least a third of Princeton's points. Mackenzie Wills was another key player, putting up 13 points and four steals.
Surprise Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Princeton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-9.
Surprise Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Princeton, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 63-28 loss against Hayfork on the 26th.
