Marion Center posted their biggest win since December 14, 2023 on Thursday. They breezed by Conemaugh Township at home to the tune of 55-24. Given Marion Center's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while Conemaugh Township is ranked 409th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Conemaugh Valley, who are still winless after their 12th contest. They were outmatched by River Valley at home and fell 62-24. Conemaugh Valley was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-9.
Marion Center's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3. As for Conemaugh Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.
