Hershey suffered their biggest loss since December 12, 2023 on Wednesday. They were outmatched by Milton Hershey at home and fell 57-23.
Meanwhile, Lower Dauphin was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap last Friday as they fell 34-28 to Cedar Cliff. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lower Dauphin has scored all season.
Hershey bumped their record down to 0-10 with that defeat, which was their 12th straight at home. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.7 points per game. As for Lower Dauphin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
Hershey might still be hurting after the 49-29 loss they got from Lower Dauphin when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can Hershey avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
