Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Defeat Ends Flour Bluff's Winning Streak

After flying high against Alice last Tuesday, Flour Bluff came back down to earth. The Hornets lost 3-0 to the Christian Academy Rams on Tuesday. The Hornets' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-12, 25-14.

Kate Croft paced Flour Bluff's offense, picking up seven kills. Croft got some help from Kristina Rodriguez and her ten assists. Hollie Santos controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Flour Bluff's loss dropped their record down to 26-7.

Coming up, Flour Bluff will head out to take on Carroll at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
