Rio Hondo Prep got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Emma Carson out in front who scored 14 points along with five assists and five steals. Carson hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games. Tara Riley was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Rio Hondo Prep has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Chadwick, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
