Southwest DeKalb won the last time they faced Northview and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 16-4 margin over the Titans. Considering the Panthers have won eight contests by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Jasmin Josey was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. Josey was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
In other batting news, Madelyn Flournoy was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Chrissee Taylor, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Southwest DeKalb's record is now 10-4. As for Northview, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.
