The Nuview Bridge Knights will head out on the road to square off against the Desert Christian Academy Conquerors at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
As a matter of fact, Nuview Bridge put up the most points they have all season on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 16-5 margin over Hamilton. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Bobcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Ethan Rivera made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Nuview Bridge is undefeated when Rivera posts two or more runs, but 1-7 otherwise.
In other batting news, Christian Flores was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-6. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March of 2024. Tobias Olague was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-5.
Nuview Bridge kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 3.5 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 10.2.
Meanwhile, Desert Christian Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They put the hurt on the Rough Riders with a sharp 21-1 win. That looming 21-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Conquerors yet this season.
Christian Adamson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 12 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Adamson was also stellar in the batter's box, going 4-for-5 with five RBI, one run, and one double. Those RBI marked the first that he brought in this season.
In other batting news, Jesse Snellenberger was a standout: he got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs, five RBI, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Westin Abarrate, who scored four runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.
Desert Christian Academy's record is now 4-2. As for Nuview Bridge, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-7.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Nuview Bridge has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Desert Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Nuview Bridge came out on top in a nail-biter against Desert Christian Academy when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 11-10. The rematch might be a little tougher for Nuview Bridge since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
