McLane is 0-10 against the Rough Riders since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The McLane Highlanders will head out on the road to take on the Roosevelt Rough Riders at 6:30 p.m. McLane is no doubt hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses.
On Friday, McLane came up short against the Stallions and fell 34-27. McLane has struggled against the Stallions recently, as their contest on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Roosevelt came tearing into Friday's matchup with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They managed a 47-43 win over Hoover.
McLane has not been sharp recently as the team's lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season. As for Roosevelt, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.
McLane ended up a good deal behind the Rough Riders in their previous matchup back in January, losing 55-39. Can McLane avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
