The Santee Warriors won the last time they faced the Wakpala Sioux, and things went their way on Friday too. Santee walked away with a 64-53 win over Wakpala. The win made it back-to-back wins for Santee.
Santee found their leader in underclassman Miley Pike, who scored 30 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which Pike has scored at least 25% of Santee's points. Another player making a difference was Aubrinee Tuttle, who scored 14 points.
Santee has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Wakpala, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
Santee and Marty Indian will face off at 3:30 p.m. on December 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
