The Santee Warriors won the last time they faced the Wakpala Sioux, and things went their way on Friday too. Santee walked away with a 64-53 win over Wakpala. The win made it back-to-back wins for Santee.
Santee found their leader in underclassman Miley Pike, who scored 30 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which Pike has scored at least 25% of Santee's points. Another player making a difference was Aubrinee Tuttle, who scored 14 points.
Santee has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Wakpala, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
Santee and Marty Indian will face off at 3:30 p.m. on December 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Marty Indian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
