Baseball Recap: Western Sierra Collegiate Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Buckingham Charter last Saturday, Western Sierra Collegiate Academy came back down to earth. The Western Sierra Collegiate Academy Wolves came up short against the Leroy Greene Academy Lions on Monday, falling 17-7. The loss continues a trend for the Wolves in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost seven in a row.

Western Sierra Collegiate Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Justin Greenhaw, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Western Sierra Collegiate Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Leroy Greene Academy, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-4 record.
