The Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves will head out on the road to  face off against  the Mira Costa Mustangs  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Wiseburn- Da Vinci is coming into the  contest hot, having won their last five games dating back to last season.
Wiseburn- Da Vinci gave up the first  runs on Friday, but they didn't let that get them  down. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Long Beach Poly, sneaking past  7-6.

 Edward Sanchez made a big impact no matter where he played. He  struck out seven batters over  six innings while giving up just two earned  (and three unearned) runs off   eight  hits (and only one walk). That's the most  strikeouts  he has posted since back in March of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.

 Meanwhile, Mira Costa suffered their closest  loss since March 22, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of North by a score of  7-5.
 Wiseburn- Da Vinci's victory was  their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 3-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11 runs. As for Mira Costa, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
