The West Philadelphia Speedboys stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They blew past Girard Academic Music Program 54-12 on the road. West Philadelphia's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Naeemiah Bridgeford had an outrageously good game as she dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Mouye Tall, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
The win (which was West Philadelphia's tenth in a row) raised their record to 11-1. As for Girard Academic Music Program, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with that loss, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
West Philadelphia will take on Paul Robeson at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Paul Robeson will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 492nd, while West Philadelphia is ranked 192nd). As for Girard Academic Music Program, they will head out on the road to square off against High School of the Future at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. High School of the Future will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
