Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Oconee County walked away with it. Everything went their way against the LaGrange Grangers on Friday as they made off with a 14-6 win. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won 17 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Oconee County's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-12. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for LaGrange, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-18.

As of now, neither Oconee County nor the Grangers have any future games scheduled.
