The Cromwell/Floodwood had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 39.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past Bertha-Hewitt 44-14 at home. The result was nothing new for Cromwell/Floodwood, who have now won six contests by 20 points or more so far this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cromwell/Floodwood to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dylan Nyberg, who rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 94 yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Dahl, who gained 98 total yards and three touchdowns.
Cromwell/Floodwood's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Bertha-Hewitt, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
