The Crescenta Valley Falcons will square off against the Los Angeles CES Unicorns at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
Crescenta Valley had to kick off their season on the road last Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victor by a 57-32 margin over La Canada.
Kylie Ray had an outrageously good game as she dropped a double-double on 25 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Keira Calaguas, who scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Meanwhile, Los Angeles CES beat Crossroads 55-48 on Thursday.
Katie Chiba was on fire: she scored 28 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mila Sano, who scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals.
Crescenta Valley's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Los Angeles CES, their win bumped their record up to an identical 1-0.
