Cardae Mack Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Atascocita got the W thanks in part to Cardae Mack playing the best football he has all season. Mack rushed for 334 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.4 yards per carry, and also threw for 113 yards on only nine passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
If the past is any indication, Mack could be in store for another big game when he takes on Pearland on Friday. Back in November of 2023 (the last time Mack saw the Oilers), he rushed for 172 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.1 yards per carry, and also picked up 52 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Marquez Xavion Ziair Davis was a major factor in Kingwood's victory over Clear Springs on Friday. Xavion Ziair Davis made a major impact, rushing for 152 yards and four touchdowns, while also catching a touchdown. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 2.1 rushing touchdowns per game.
