The Rubidoux Falcons lost against the La Sierra Eagles back in November of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Rubidoux took a 37-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of La Sierra. Rubidoux has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead La Sierra to victory, but perhaps none more so than Stephanie Adecer, who scored 15 points along with 7 assists. That makes it two consecutive games in which Adecer has scored at least 25% of La Sierra's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mar?kia Picart-washington, who scored 9 points along with 10 rebounds and 4 blocks.
Rubidoux's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for La Sierra, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Rubidoux will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Bloomington at 5:30 p.m. Bloomington is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for La Sierra, they will head out on the road to face off against Cathedral City at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
