Forest Park hasn't had much luck against Pace Academy recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Panthers will venture away from home to square off against the Knights at 5:55 p.m. Forest Park has given up an average of 15.7 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Forest Park saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alivia Cade, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Cade is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
Meanwhile, Pace Academy got the win against Midtown on Wednesday by a conclusive 9-1. Considering Pace Academy has won eight matchups by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Megan Wrigley made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in August of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Katie Wrigley was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most runs she has posted since back in October of 2024. Nilaya Nag was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
Forest Park's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Pace Academy, their record is now 10-8.
Monday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Forest Park hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .477. However, it's not like Pace Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .368. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Forest Park might still be hurting after the 22-3 loss they got from Pace Academy in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
