The John Glenn Muskies will venture away from home to face off against the Meadowbrook Colts at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
While John Glenn's victory against Buckeye Trail wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Muskies narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Warriors 11-10. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Muskies' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Kayden McDonald was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. He has become a key player for John Glenn: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 7-15 otherwise. Charlie Cameron was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: John Glenn kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April.
Meadowbrook came out on top against Caldwell on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run second inning. The Colts were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Redskins. The Colts not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 16th (when they won 13-1).
Austin Warner was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Warner was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kam Winnett, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Steven Beach, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
John Glenn moved to 9-16 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Meadowbrook, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
