They breezed by New Oxford on the road to the tune of 71-27. Northeastern's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Northeastern's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Colleen Finnegan, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for her. Lauralye Kennedy was another key contributor, scoring 20 points.
The victory for Northeastern keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for New Oxford, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Northeastern will take on Eastern York in a holiday battle at TBD on Friday at. New Oxford will be home for the holidays to greet Spring Grove at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th.
