Meanwhile, Williamson stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Galeton 58-13 at home. With Williamson ahead 30-7 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Williamson's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Olivia Meisner, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 17 rebounds. Meisner has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 16 times she's played. Taylor Rae Jones was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
The victory got Wyalusing Valley back to even at 7-7. As for Williamson, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.
