Horizon kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in 13 consecutive games.
Broomfield came out on top against Silver Creek on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive 11-run second inning. The Eagles put the hurt on the Raptors with a sharp 15-0 victory. That looming 15-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Eagles yet this season.
Like Horizon, Broomfield also got a great game from a two-way player: Delaney Meehan. She struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Meehan was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Thursday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Horizon has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .476. However, it's not like Broomfield struggles in that department as they've averaged .475. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Horizon might still be hurting after the 12-0 defeat they got from Broomfield in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Will the Hawks have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
