The Southern Christian Patriots gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 53-23 victory over Grace Christian.
Loss or not, Grace Christian got some senior leadership from Brandon Fitch who scored 10 points and Noah Farnsworth who scored 9 points.
Southern Christian's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Grace Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southern Christian will square off against Wiregrass at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Grace Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Bible Baptist Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Bible Baptist Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday.
