The Center Cougars will head out on the road to  face off against  the Grant Pacers  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Grant took a loss in their last  match and will be looking to turn the tables on Center, who comes in off a win.
While Cougars fans will have to keep waiting for their  team to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Tuesday's  season opener. They blew past Foothill 19-1 on Tuesday.
 Amari Anderson was a standout: he scored three  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Jason Bergman, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.
 Center  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 14  hits. That's the most  hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.
Meanwhile, Grant lost  14-1 to Destiny Christian Academy on Thursday. The Pacers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Grant saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Joel De La Cruz, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
