The Brashear Bulls and the Perry Traditional Academy Commodores will face off at 3:15 p.m. on February 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Brashear unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 44-36 to Obama Academy of International Studies.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Ra'Nyah Morris, who scored 14 points along with five steals. She hasn't dropped below three steals for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Ariana Sherrill, who scored 15 points.
Meanwhile, Perry Traditional Academy had to suffer through a rough 54-20 loss at the hands of Brashear.
Brashear's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Perry Traditional Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
Everything came up roses for Brashear against Perry Traditional Academy when the teams last played on Wednesday as the team secured a 54-20 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Brashear since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
