The Franklin Learning Center Bobcats won the last time they faced the Strawberry Mansion Knights, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Franklin Learning Center breezed by Strawberry Mansion on the road to the tune of 51-19. With Franklin Learning Center ahead 30-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Janai Richardson was a one-man wrecking crew for Franklin Learning Center as she scored 31 points. Makiya Brunson was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Franklin Learning Center now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Strawberry Mansion, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin Learning Center will square off against KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Strawberry Mansion will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on First Philadelphia Prep at 3:15 p.m. on January 8, 2024.
