After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northridge Academy, the Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers were happy to have found some success on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 44-20 margin over Fulton. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences has posted since November 9, 2023.
Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences was led to victory by Lara Ledesma and Angelina Beshara. Ledesma scored 18 points, while Beshara scored 22 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Beshara has scored at least a third of Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences' points.
Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Fulton, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-15.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences will take on Vaughn at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Vaughn is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Fulton, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Sherman Oaks CES at 4:00 p.m.
