The Vintage Crushers will face off against the Windsor Jaguars at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Vintage has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with four straight defeats, while Windsor will come in with three straight victories.
Petaluma hit Vintage with a five-run third inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Crushers fell 10-6 to the Trojans.

Dario Freschi and Blake Porter did some serious damage despite the final result: Freschi got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base, while Porter went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. Porter is becoming a predictor of Vintage's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 5-2 (and 3-7 when he doesn't).
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Windsor faced off against Ukiah on Friday. The Jaguars put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 8-1 win.
Brandon Curry and Micah Sanders made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Curry tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Sanders struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. Curry has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. At bat, Curry went 3-for-4 with two runs, while Sanders went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most hits Sanders has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, Rogan Billigmeier and Noah Strozewski did most of the damage at the plate: Billigmeier went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run, while Strozewski got on base in all five of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. Those three hits gave Billigmeier a new career-high.
Windsor always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .564. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Windsor pushed their record up to 11-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Vintage, they now have a losing record of 8-9.
Vintage couldn't quite finish off Windsor in their previous matchup back in May of 2023 and fell 8-6. Will the Crushers have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more baseball content.
