Make it eight blowout wins for the Ramona Rams this season. They really took it to La Sierra for the full four quarters, racking up a 64-8 win at home. Winning may never get old, but Ramona sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Ramona got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaiden Tibbels out in front who scored 19 points along with three steals. Tibbels has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Olivia Molina, who scored ten points along with five assists and five rebounds.
La Sierra lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Eunice Castro, who scored no points along with eight rebounds and seven blocks. Castro is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last seven games she's played.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, La Sierra struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Ramona now has a winning record of 11-10. As for La Sierra, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ramona will take on Norte Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Norte Vista is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games. As for La Sierra, they will be playing at home against Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
