In what's become a running theme this season, the Vaughn White Tigers gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 55-19 victory over Fulton. 55 seems to be a good number for Vaughn as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Yamileth Ferreira was her usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with six assists and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Cisneros, who scored ten points along with nine steals.
Vaughn is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-14 record this season. As for Fulton, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.
Vaughn won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against West Ranch at 5:00 p.m. on January 26th. West Ranch presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Vaughn in California (West Ranch is ranked 423rd, while Vaughn is ranked 921st). As for Fulton, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences at 4:00 p.m.
