The Alhambra Moors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four  games by 20  points or more this season. They really took it to Montebello for the full four quarters, racking up a  54-17 win on the road. The  victory was just what Alhambra needed coming off of a  81-23 loss in their prior  game.
 Alhambra's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Joanna Dong led the charge by  dropping  a double-double on 17 points and ten  steals. Those ten  steals set a new season-high mark for her.  Megan Lai was another key contributor,  scoring 17 points along with seven  assists and five  rebounds.
 Alhambra's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Montebello, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 5-9.
 Alhambra will take on Schurr at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Montebello, they will head out on the road to face off against San Gabriel at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. San Gabriel has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 30.
