After losing to the Millennium Falcons the last time they met, the Central Catholic Raiders decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Central Catholic strolled past Millennium with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 43-27. The win made it back-to-back wins for Central Catholic.
Central Catholic can attribute much of their success to Taryn Calderon, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Allie Abbate, who scored 9 points.
Central Catholic's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Millennium, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Catholic will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Enochs at 7:00 p.m. on December 4th. Hopefully Enochs focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 37 on Monday. As for Millennium, they will head out on the road to face off against Ripon Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
