There's no place like home for the Ontario Jaguars, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Saturday. They took their match at home on Monday with ease, bagging a 49-7 win over Jurupa Valley. With Ontario ahead 28-5 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ontario to victory, but perhaps none more so than Grace Poulava, who scored 14 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Poulava is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey McDow, who scored 18 points along with 4 steals.
Ontario's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Jurupa Valley, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Ontario won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Bloomington at 5:00 p.m. on November 28th. As for Jurupa Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Vista del Lago at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Vista del Lago is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
