The Lewis-Palmer Rangers posted their biggest victory since December 1, 2023 on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 75-51 margin over Cheyenne Mountain. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-20.
It was another big night for Cohen Edmondson, who scored 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Johnson, who scored 17 points.
Lewis-Palmer has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Cheyenne Mountain, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lewis-Palmer will take on Palmer Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Palmer Ridge will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 143rd, while Lewis-Palmer is ranked 29th). As for Cheyenne Mountain, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Air Academy at 7:30 p.m. Air Academy is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
